Could I have an ovarian cyst?

Hello,

I have been feeling a sharp pain on my lower right side, for the last couple of days. A few weeks ago I was treated for a UTI as I have to see constantly and had some cramping.

My period is also late and my breast really sore (3 pregnancy test give a BFN).

Could it be a cyst? The pain is increasing and it's a sharp pain quite localized.

I really sympathise, I have pain in my left lower side. I have had a cyst before and it feels much the same (although worse this time) where my ovary would be and towards the centre is so painful to touch. I keep feeling like someone is squeezing it! I'm not sure it is a cyst but I am blocking it out because I have an important event I don't want to miss tomorrow!

Yours couldn't be appendix could it?

I would always advise seeking medical attention for abdo pain. I’ve had similar a few times. Mine turned out to be endometriosis but it could be an ovarian cyst or your appendix. I’d suggest you call 111 to see what they say.

Thanks, period came yesterday after all my worrying! I'm still having horrible cramping but is probably due in part to my non existent water intake and my 5 coffees a day habit.

I will keep an eye since it's the first period I have to be so painful. Another thing that came to my mind is that my GP had mentioned Cystitis as a cause of the constant cramping, as it doesn't follow a pattern.
