Problem with Imodium

Just wondered if this sounds normal . Wednesday I had the runs and took imodium twice during the day as i had to go to work. They worked but ever since I've had a constant pain at the bottom of my ribs nothing helps except a hot water bottle. Vomited last night. Anyone else had this after Imodium and did anything help.thanks a lot and sorry for tmi.

Sounds like you have a bug. It won't be the Imodium.

It does sound like a bug.
I take Imodium sometimes as I have ibs and it does make me feel sick and have trapped wind pain for a few days after but this sounds different.

it also makes me feel/be sick and I get cramps/trapped wind for a couple of days.

it's an opiate, if you don't get on with those (codeine etc) that might be the reason why,
but could also be a bug...
