Hello, I'm quite new to this but wanted to see if anyone has had a similar experience and what happened. I have been told I have a 5-6 cm endometrioma in my right ovary and endometriosis at the back of my uterus. I also had a high CA125 test result (about 90 odd). I was booked in for surgery to remove it at the end of Feb. On Friday I had intense pain (almost passed out) for a couple of hours on my right side and after having a scan on Tuesday I was told that it had burst as what they think is an endometrioma was kind of deflated and there is fluid around it. I still have a pressure around my right hip and leg. My consultant has said I should continue to wait for surgery on 22 Feb but I am worried if there are any risks in waiting? Also she had said it is rare for an endometrioma to burst so I'm wondering if it could be something else. Any views very welcome!! Thank you
