Internally stitches possibly infected? Help please.

Hi all,

18 days ago I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. It was a natural labour and I tore internally which was classed as a 2nd degree tear but on the border of being a 3rd degree.

Good news is the pain has stopped. The bleeding has eased too. But it does slightly smell, I do wash regularly and take care of then but in my sanatary towel it seems to be like a yellow discharge with a bit of blood? I know it’s TMI it’s like jelly like see through blood and slightly yellow like urine? So it’s not a thick discharge it’s all see through sort of speak. My midwife did check them about a week ago and was happy s

I am going to book a doctors appointment as midwife wants me to have a routine check on the BP tablets I am on.

Might be best mentioning my stitches/that area was very itchy a few days ago but I think that’s a sign of healing? I’m just worried how much smell/discharge is worth worrying about as I’m assuming it would weep some what anyways? Like I say, I’m not in pain or don’t feel unwell.
