Fever and work

I’ve been off work for 3 days now been to doctors got a viral infection and an over 38 degree fever. Got some meds to help now.

Question I have is that dr says I shouldn’t work whilst I’m this ill but DH thinks no matter how I feel in the morning I should go back. What should I do for the best?

Started a new job last month so still in probation.

I’d probably go back when I feel a bit stronger. You’ve already taken 3 days off so you might aswell take the time to recover.

Surely the only person that can answer that question is yourself !

I’m in a new job too and have had almost a week off with flu, I’m going to asked to be signed off. At least that some kind of evidence for work!
