Sore throat remedies

Dd2 (15) has flu, have rarely seen either of my DDs this ill. The throat pain is horrible, painkillers not touching it, shes in too much pain to fall asleep even. Does anyone have any great tips for stuff i can buy in the chemist? Or ask GP for?

Crikey ,sounds awful . If it doesn't get better I'd suggest a GP visit .

In meantime Tyrozets are excellent - need to get from pharmacy but available without prescription .

Gargling and then swallowing dispersible aspirin . Gargling with warm salty water .

Difflam throat spray .

Hope she soon improves .
