DS2 has a headache and feels very hot is it ok to give Medised with junior nurofen?

I gave him some calprofen (ibuprofen) about 1/2 hour ago. I was going to give him some paracetamol based medicine at 6.30, but only have Medised, I know I can give Calpol and nurofen/calprofen together, but would it be ok to give it with Medised?
He's lying on the sofa with his jammies on and a blanket!

i ahve done before, on the assumption that it's ok to give calpol, but I am absolutely non qualified to advise another.
