Ive had it 10 days which is not long I guess, been through stages of snottiness, sweating, shivering but the cough has stayed for the whole time. Today I noticed my phlegm was brown and pink with tiny bits of blood in. Saw the GP who checked me over. All was ok apart from a temperature so she has given me antibiotics and said I'm obviously not going to fight this myself if it's been 10 days with a temperature still. Does this sound like the norm? Really fed up with it now.
