Is Liquid Paraffin/White Soft Paraffin 50:50 cream OK for 6 week old baby?

Does anyone know if Liquid Paraffin/White Soft Paraffin 50:50 cream is safe for a 6 week old baby with dry skin?

of course it is, it is much the same as vaseline just a bit softer as it has liquid paraffin added, goes a bit liquidy if you leave it in a warm place though, I never used anything else

is is absolutely fine - it is very harmless but slippery so be careful not to drop baby!!

yes it's a common thing to prescribe for dry skin. oilatum is a brand name for it.

I though it was cetroban? we get that on prescription for dd1.
