Fell down the stairs

I fall down the stairs 10 days ago and I hurt my tailbone as I fell first on it and my bum then on my back and head. The fall was quite bad and I was in pain that day but I could move and I continue with my activities that day until I went home i the night and started to feel more pain. I'm feeling that pain 10 days nowbut it wasn't so strong until yesterday. This last two days I'm feeling more pain when I'm sitting I can't sit properly i feel pain in my tailbone, when I try to strech muscles for pelvic floor also i feel stronger pain. I feel lower back discomfort. I thought first is nothing that injury will go after a few days but I started to be worried, as instead of pain going the pain is more this last days. I'm really afraid that can be something more serious. I was doing some
Research today about tailbone pain and I found about tailbone dysfunction and the treatment and honesty I'm really afraid that can be something similar, today I wasn't mentally able to do anything as only thinking about that. Anyone with similar experience?

I landed on my tailbone after falling fron a high breakfast bar type stool and it hurt for weeks which is apparently normal but I did go and get it checked out just to be sure. It is agony because of where it is situated for sitting down etc.

I fractured mine, horrifically painful took years to heal properly.

Get yourself to the GP or - if it becomes increasingly painful - A&E.

I went yesterday in GP and the doctor basically didn't even check me properly, she just see where is the injury and said there is no treatment for coccyx , only take painkillers and it takes time to heal properly. If I feel that strong pain after 3 weeks to go again. Sad
