So basically I had an allergic reaction to a plaster on the side of my foot a few days before Christmas, foot massively swollen along with ankle, allergic reaction got infected, week of clarithromycin end of December.
Foot and ankle still really swollen, boss sent me to walk in centre Wednesday night, nurse didn’t think it was another infection but wasn’t sure, said chest was clear and oxygen levels normal, once home from walk in chest started wheezing and needing to cough but can’t actuslly bring anything up or get rid of the feeling that I need to cough.
Gp appointment the next morning gp said looks like infection gave me another course of clarithromycin for a week said if swelling doesn’t go down in few days to go to a&e as will need intravenous antibiotics.
The thing is my chest is still very wheezy and the feeling I need to cough but can’t is still there and its worrying me that I have a pulmonary embolism but not other symptoms apart from swollen foot and ankle with wheezing chest and cough, is it worth ringing GP again Monday ? Or should i go back to the walk in tomorrow ?
I have really bad anxiety when it comes to medical issues 😩
