Hi all

Can you recommend an anti perspirant to help tackle the fact that my underarms get very wet when I'm stressed or under pressure e.g. at work, in meetings etc.

Mitchum, is a good one. I tend to use in summer, the wipe on one like a bar you wind out. It's a ladies one with a nice scent. I'm not keen on roll on they tend to be wet before you start, but I don't know if they do a roll on anyway. They do a spray. Also a men's might work better. Mitchum do mens too. You would have to experiment but 'sure' is good, think men's is stronger. Often have offers on men's and womens in tesco. I used to have this problem and found wearing the right clothes helps. Either black, white or mixed patterns and colours disguise sweat marks. Being conscious of that just made me sweat more! And with a good start I don't find it such a problem. if I do sweat i know it won't show or smell! Get one with deodorant which is scented. And material, natural fibres. Also loose under arm. So with all those combinations finding the right clothes shouldn't be a problem. Also wear a nice perfume. Belt and braces approach! And vary your perfume and antiperspirant occasionally.

Also OP you will get more response in Style and beauty. Not sure how, think you have to ask Mn HQ, to move it over. But alot of this sweating thing is psychological, and by doing the things I said cut most of it out. If I were to wear a tight fitting top in a colour that shows the sweat, I just know I'll be sweating buckets!

Sure Maximum is really good. I get it when its on offer. Its the only one that keeps my top still smell fresh after a day at work

Mitchum stopped working for me after childbirth! Hmm

Must be hormonal in my case!

Dfinately Mitchum it’s the only thing that works for my teenager

I found Mitchum useless! Not sure if I reacted to something in it or what but I was sweaty within a couple of hours. I use perspirex - you apply it at night and wash in the morning. Once you’ve been using it for a while you can cut down to a couple of times a week. Then I use it Sure maximum protection (which is very effective) in the morning as well to keep smelling nice.

Sure maximum is better than Mitchum in my opinion (using the solid versions)
