navicular bone healing

anyone broken a navicular bone in foot which actually healed? I'd rather avoid surgery if possible. Does it heal eventually? How long did it take? Any tips? I'm at week 7 after a lateral fracture across navicular and cuboid. I've had a cast and am back with the book. Any tips please?

Me! Although my break may not have been as bad as yours, I didn't have a cast.

how long did it take to heal?

I could walk on it normally after about 8 weeks but carried on getting occasional twinges for maybe a month or 2 afterwards.

I was advised to walk on it regularly and to do lots of foot circles to encourage the blood flow and help healing.

Good luck, I'm always told it's an unusual one to break! Thanks
