14 days ago I had my right hand operated on for carpol tunnel, everything has been fantastic still abit weak but that's expected,9 days after had left hand done, the operation it self was terrible worst pain ive ever felt in my life didn't feel been cut but felt everything else, once I was cut had more injections (local anaesthetic) but that caused shooting pains down my fingers, anyway felt very sore after, that all seemed to calm down untill 2 days ago now am getting like electric shocks in Palm of hand it's a Sharp quick shooting pain, could this be normal? hope this makes sense thanksSmile

I hope gets better as I was going to have it done myself a year ago but I changed my mind after a friend having it and experienced similar pains and feelings and sadly it has not helped her in the long run at all.
So I really hope it works well for you as I guess it’s a success for enough or they’d not offer it.

They don't have a very high success rate, sorry. One day at a time.

The operation has definitely been successful, suppose it's still early days, and still healing 😀

Ah, what a pain! I don't mean that in a punny way. X fingers it resolves soon. Let us know what happens.

Saw surgeon this morning,he sent me to see a therapist, she says everything will have damage to my median nerve, and its not gliding with the tendens in my wrist so ive been given hand exercises to get things working again, really starting to wish I hadn't had left hand done 🙄, anyone else had this trouble x
