PMT headaches but on the pill - is this possible?

After several years of not being on pill (and 2 babies later) I've gone back on it and have realised that the last few months, every time I am on my period I get a horrible headache that I just can't shift, it's behind my eyes and can hardly move my head - it lasts for 2/3 days (while period is heavy) and then goes.

I didn't realise you could get period headaches if you're on the pill, cos it's not really a 'normal' period is it?

Anyone else have this and can anyone suggest anything to make it easier or go away?

thanks

i get terrible migraines on the pill. you should try a different kind. drinking also made it worse. go to your gp.

oh and lots of sympathy.
