MY PERIOD WAS 2 WEEKS LATE, AND MY TEST WAS NEGATIVE!!!!

My period was two weeks late, so I took a home test at 5 days and another at 12 days both said negative. I have all the symptoms vomiting, nausea, light headed, weird cravings, frequent urination and off the wall emotional outbursts. My fiance and I have been trying to conceive for 8 months and I thought we finally had it... but just today after being intimate I noticed bright red blood, I think it's my period, but I'm not sure. My cycle is regular and has never been late... Is this normal and has anyone else went through this?

You know your body better than anyone else. If you think all the signs are there head over to your gp. Home pregnancy tests are fairly good these days but not flawless and it may be too early for them to pick it up yet?
