Hi
Im after some advice. I was born with a dislocated hip (name given but actially had no socket in left hip but over years muscle formed the socket) however as the years gone on, my right hip deteriorated due to over compensating for my left and i now have severe arthritis in both hips with pain which has got 10 times worse over last 3 months to which i struggle to get in and out of car, cannot bend to pick things up and cannot walk far.

Ive just started a new job as where worked before struggling with steps up to the office so found a job where no steps involved. However i know come march when i go back to see my consultant he is going to recommend an operation to which i know i now need as my quality of life no longer their and cry with pain and crawl upstairs in my house.
My question is, if i get opportunity gor operation and could be off for 2 months, will i get sacked?
Like my new job but only been their 1 month but boss happy with my progress and fitted in quickly and well.
Thanks for reading any advice welcome
