For over a week now Ive had a very tickly cough , it's right at the bottom of my throat.

When i talk I cough , I can just say "hello my na coughmcoughe*cough cough. Is so and so .

Even with my mouth closed as I breathe in air it really irritates my throat .

I've never had a cough like it . Also my glads are up but no sigh of a bacterial infection.

Could it be asthma?

My cough when I speak cough turned out to be atypical pneumonia... have you been to see your gp?

Monty27 · 25/01/2019 00:02

Might be asthma for sure. Could be anxiety or both. Try drinking honey with lemon in warm water. You could have a hair or something stuck in your throat.
Good luck. Flowers

Asthma ? I've never had that before .
I haven't been stressed , i just became a bit unwell for a day and developed a cough that got worse , honestly thought I was getting tonsillitis but I didn't develop a temperature....I think I'll book a gp in the morning .
Also my child has now got a really bad cough and is unwell🙁

I get asthma symptoms very infrequently (like, every 2-3 years) do it's not always persistent. Last year I had an awful croupy cough, which stemmed from laryngitis. Might fit with your sore throat? Sounds like a trip to the gp would be a good idea though.

Nobody has asthma before until they get it Confused
