Sterilisation

I need to make an appointment with my GP to get some more pills and I'm going to ask about being sterilised. Has anyone had it done? Do you know what criteria I'll need to meet to be referred?

I had this done, but many years ago. Was the right decision for me, family complete and DH was not happy to undergo surgery but that’s another story.

The NHS has strict funding guidelines now, and you have to show that Long Acting Reversible Contraception is not suitable for you (coils, implants etc).
