Sharp pain - Is this a bladder prolapse?

Three years ago I had a sub-total hysterectomy leaving my cervix. I’ve had no problems since.

Today I was holding two heavy shopping bags in my left hand and pulled the car boot door down with my right hand to close it. While doing this I felt an awful sharp pain in my pelvic area that lasted for a couple of minutes. No idea what it was, but worried that I’ve caused a prolapse. I’ve just checked (tmi) in my vagina and can feel a bit of a bulge in the front area, but maybe it’s always like this, I can’t be sure.

So I just wondered, if I have had a bladder prolapse, can it be caused by a sudden event or is it more gradual, and would it have caused this sharp pain?
