Gillick Competency Framework - Consent with SEND

Hi,
D.S. (almost 14yrs) was sent home today with an immunisation form for Td/IPV/.

I’m just askin the following out of interest.
On that form it says if they don’t receive the form back saying you don’t consent, they will carry out the Gillick Comp. framework and the child can give their own consent.

Now I understand about the frame work and for neurotypicap children, I understand. However, this is a special school with children on all levels of the ASD spectrum. Is there literally just one generic form and they just don’t have a SEND specific one or do you reckon they would actually assess a child with say, ASD and if the child says yes, they’d give them the vaccines?

I personally don’t think DS is competent to give informed consent...even though he said he is and said ‘No!’ straight away, before I’d even told him what the vaccines were! That therefore proves my point of him not being competent.
