Stopping the pill and spots!

Hi I stopped my pill about 5 months ago as I’ve split with husband so don’t see the point in taking it! I’ve never really had a lot of spots just a few now and again but since stopping I’ve been getting these big ones. (Sorry about the toppic) They never get a head on them, they are just big and sore lumps and last for months then leave a scar. Nothing I’ve done will help them to go. Just wondered if anyone knew what’s going on and if there is anything I can do to help. Most of the spots are on my chin only.

I stopped the pill 4 years ago and that's when my trouble began , i haven't had clear skin for more than a week since ... They aren't bad spots but they are there ..

Sadly when we get given the pill we aren't told one side effect of stopping it is you can get acne ! . Apparently it does eventually clear up ...

I just discovered the nip fab teen range in superdrug , it has salicylic acid in .
My spots are vanishing 😁, give it a go

I've had this too. Topical lotion form the GP helped, but going back on the pill was the only thing that cleared it again. I'll have to face it again one day though.

Oh no, doesn’t sound promising, might have to just go back on the pill again for the sake of my skin! Not gonna find a new man looking like this!

Sorry to revive an old thread but does anyone else have any experience of this? I've stopped the pill recently and I'm getting awful under the skin spots as well as bigger sore ones.

If this happened to you, how long did it last and what did you do to help it?

Thanks!
