Injured breast

Hi. A close friend rang me today. She said she'd bashed one of her breasts. She noticed a bruise afterwards. Then a couple of days later she told me she noticed a lump behind the exact place where the bruise is.

We agreed that neither of us would worry if there was a lump behind a bruise on e.g a leg. But she is worried the lump was there already, coincidentally where the bruise is. Because it's her breast.

What would you think? What would you do? If it was you.

Anxiety about it isnt worth it, niether is waiting to 'see' if it is something, save all the hassle and just get it checked out x

Thanks. That's what I told her because I didn't want to take the risk. But I think she was hoping I'd say don't worry, wait and see; and now I've freaked her out.

Doctors would always prefer u get checked because if you think they'd comment on just checking, they'd definitely comment on people not checking and something bad does happen. That 10 minute appointment can save stress and worry and potentially lives, sounds oh so dramatic when u say it like that, but so true x
