Hi , I’m of menopausal age & have been feeling pretty crap for a while , I had a full blood count done my Cholesterol is slighted risen but so is my Testosterone my Gp doesn’t seem concerned it’s 1.8 but should be lower , we had a good chat but I forgot to mention that over 12 years ago I was diagnosed with pco I don’t know if this has anything to do with it , has anybody else experienced this ? I’m just wondering if there is any natural way of lowering it for example diet , it will need to be monitored as theres a risk of heart disease etc ,
Any advice greatly received

Diet is hard for testosterone because it's a bit of a double edged sword because fat lose results in a natural testosterone spike.

Tbh, if I was menopausal anyway and the cause is pcos I would request to have my overies removed. It's a pretty straight foward procedure and that would also speed up the menopause process as well so two birds with one stone.

Thankyou for your reply ? Tbh I’m slightly worried , i wouldn’t have my ovaries removed unless really necessary I was diagnosed with PCOS 13 years but the Dr didn’t mention it atall & tbh I didn’t realise that the two could be connected
