Found a new tiny black mole on my upper thigh this morning. It's about the size of a pinhead and slightly raised, and shiny. I thought it was a small scab at first, but I couldn't scratch it off.
I've booked an appointment to see the GP this afternoon, and I'm simultaneously embarrassed to be going about something SO tiny, and worried that he won't take it seriously. I have a very bad family history for cancer, including skin cancer (although not melanoma).
Obviously I foolishly googled, and found a multitude of stories of people with pinhead sized nodular melanomas
I guess I'm hoping for a bunch of brusque MNers to pile in and tell me not to be daft.
