Painful colonoscopy now needing a CT Colonograohy

I had an endoscopy and colonoscopy last week. The endoscopy showed a Hiatus Hernia and Barretts Oesophagus, the colonoscopy was so painful due to a stiff bowel and they were unable to complete it. They referred me for a CTC which i thought was a CT scan. I now realise it's another invasive procedure and I'm worried it will be as painful.
Can anyone offer any wisdom, together with what 2 day diet I will need prior to the CTC.
I have to collect 3 bottles or preprep tomorrow and is this stuff going to be worse than the Moviprep I had last week 🤢

The prep will be similar to the colonoscopy but the procedure itself is less invasive and less traumatic. The result will really help with an accurate diagnosis. You'll be absolutely fine.

Sedation helps

My mum had a colonogram when she was 84 and quite frail. She found it all quite easy (after worrying about it for ages). Hope you appointment goes well.

I'm in a similar position, couldn't complete my colonoscopy because of severe pain (probably due to adhesions from past surgery).
After discussing this with my consultant we decided on another scope but under GA.

Thank you everyone. I had to go to the unit to collect the prep rep and spoke to a lovely radiographer who explained the whole procedure. They do not sedate but I’ll be given Buscopan to relax my bowel.
I’m not looking forward to fasting again, but it mak help my diet x

Update - the CTC showed some narrowing of my bowel close to my liver. I need an urgent CT chest scan and have an appointment with the consultant early next week 😥
