Bunions

Have you had bunion correction surgery? How did it go and how was recovery?

Don’t want to know the details of what’s involved in the surgery but interested to know about recovery and pain afterwards.

I had mine done about 16 years ago, had both done at the same time.

It was sore, really sore, but I did as the physios told me and rested up as much as I possibly could, and I was back to normal after about six weeks. It took a bit longer to be able to walk distances but I got there in the end.

My feet have been fine since about six months after surgery. I was so glad to get back into proper shoes again.
