Any GP's/Pharmacists about?

I'm currently on holiday in a very smoggy place (Thailand), I could feel myself coming down with a cold on the plane but now it's turned to full blown tonsillitis and I feel like death.

I suffer with it often (2-4 times a year) but this is the worst it's been and the usual penicillin isn't working. I've been to the pharmacy and have got amoxicillin, ibuprofen and zoplicone (the jet lag is killing me and I can't sleep)

I asked the pharmacist but she couldn't really understand what I was asking. Am I OK to take the above all in one go?

Nurse here. You are ok to take them all although I’m assuming you’ll take the zopiclone only at night!

I am in Thailand. Health care here is excellent. Go to a local clinic and take your passport.
See a doctor and have an examination. They will probably take a swab of your throat.
They will tell you which medication you can safely take and the staff will speak English.
Where in Thailand are you?

@Cloudsandcandles yes, only at night :)

@elephantfan that's reassuring to know, hopefully can find some energy by tomorrow to go. I'm in Bang Tao, Phuket
