Had a UTI at the weekend it came on quite quickly, weeing excessively, burning pain, pressure down below, then started to feel like I was giving birth then started passing blood. I was in agony so went to out of hours service. Got a 3 days supply of antibiotics which finished this morning. The above symptoms are gone but I am feeling so tired/drained, very sleepy, headache/light headed? I had to phone GP for results today. Just phoned and did have an infection the doctors (rather than see me, he has offered me another three day course of anti biotics. Could it still be an infection now or has it just taken a lot out of me and will come right eventually? I could do with being back up to full strength/my usual self ASAP. As was poorly just before Christmas and just after NY with hot/cold/shivery blocked nose. Feel like a liability.
