Hi,
I’m looking for advice re dentistry. I know it’s not fully fledged proven that pregnancy is linked with all dental issues, but since having 3babies in the last 3.5 years (& exclusively bf each for 9months so hormones haven’t been normal for a while!) I have had quite a bit of gum recession on a couple of teeth. This is now getting quite obvious/painful and although I have mentioned it to my dentist on each visit, she’s has seemed very dismissive of it and says it just happens to to some people, not others & to use sesnsodyne (which I do).

I’m not looking for a cosmetic freebie but if the pre/post natal changes have had an impact I’m wondering if the mat card covers any work?

I have an apt this tues with a different dentist at the same practice so was hoping for advice/experience of others to help when I ask them.

Don’t know if it’s relevant but I’m an nhs patient in a private surgery?

Huge thanks I’m advance x
