Chest/back acne?

Has anyone had this before? I’m not sure what causes mine or how best to treat it?

I don’t get full blown acne per se, but a group of small painful under the skin bumps. They then leave little spot scars it only happens like 1-2 bursts a year so I can’t figure out what may trigger it.

Are you exercising more recently?? I tend to get this when I exercise and don't shower quickly enough afterwards. I pretty much need to head to the shower within the hour to wash all the sweat off...or I get really painful red bumps under the skin if I leave it for longer than that.

Embarrassingly I don’t go to the gym but I do walk a lot (I am not overweight though). I wonder if I’m not showering fast enough on the days that I am very active (30k+ steps). Would possibly explain why I can’t figure out what is triggering it!

Yes that could be it...that number of steps would deffo be working up a sweat
