Has this ever happened to anybody, and if so what was it?

I feel like I'm getting a cold/sinus problems, felt like i had mucus stuck at the back of my throat, blew my nose and a massive piece of solid pale yellow stuff came out of my nose!? It was kind of shaped like an 'S' and about the size of a 20p curled around. What the hell could that be? Is it my brain

Sorry, it is TMI, I actually wish I'd got a photo, it was like nothing I've ever seen! It did look like a worm!
