My partner has severe RLS, and suffers greatly in the evenings and at night time. It is beginning to affect him so much, he cannot even relax, or simply enjoy watching tv.
He tried going to the doctor at the beginning of last year, and he was prescribed a highly addictive drug to "help" with his condition (the one they prescribe for Parkinson's), it messed with his head and personality - so he has been put off going back to his GP.
We have cut cigarettes, alcohol and caffeine out of our diets - and seen some little improvement - but it is still affecting him quite badly.
I wondered if anyone had any advice through their own experience or through hearing of others?
