oh, your poor ds tutter!

hope it clears up soon, poor thing

umm, as for the food - well, someone will be along shortly with some advice on that ...

themaskedposter · 28/06/2007 20:17

bananas?? toast??

mummytosteven · 28/06/2007 20:18

avoid milk/dairy. water obviously best, but if he won't take water, some sort of clear fluids - squash/lemonade.

for the food - avoid dairy, otherwise something bland - toast, biscuit, that sort of thing.

DumbledoresGirl · 28/06/2007 20:19

Same as for vomiting: bananas, rice, apples and toast.

No dairy. Nothing greasy or fatty.

Plenty of fluids (in fact, if he only wants fluids that won't harm for now).

Hope he gets better soon, poor thing.

Not sure how old ds is but always give mine dry toast to line the tum, then get them to sip lemonade throughout the day for settling the tum and giving them energy (cheaper than lucozade!). It works with mine and they usually know what they fancy. I always keep it very plain for first 2 days. Hope he's better soon

oh dear, hope he is feeling better/having a nice sleep now.

I agree with DG about the food - don't worry if he eats very little the next few days - just try and make sure he doesn't get dehydrated
