Perferated ear drum 5 year old - are you allowed to fly

dd 5.8 had perforated (sorry spelling) ear drum in february, due to fly in august.

is it too soon to fly, not sure of time span after.

can anyone help

Not sure there is a restriction - ear drum was perfed so no build up of pressure. As long as ear drum has healed there should be no problem. It takes about 6weeks for an eardrum to heal - has anybody checked?

yes, because she suffers with a lot of ear wax its really hard to see to the bottom of it. she is has glue ear in other ear and failed 2 hearing tests.

just waiting to go back again.

doctor said never seen so much wax in a child.

Should be fine - was never advised not to fly for a period for either of ours although obviously not immediately

thanks lizs just didnt want to do anymore damage to her ear, obviously get doc to check over b4 we go.
