I was diagnosed with a very mild case of cfs and told to take Amitriptyline which I will get on Wednesday. My question is has anybody taken them for mild cases and felt any better?😫

I used to be on a low dose amitrip for anxiety, I loved being on it because I’d take it at night and it worked like a sleeping pill and put me into a lovely sleep. I don’t know much about cfs but if your symptoms are more pain based and you don’t have an issue with being mad even more drowsy then this would be good, it acts like an allocer relaxant. If it’s energy your looking for I wouldn’t have thought this would be a great idea but I don’t know. Maybe try it for a week and see how you get on x

@widget123 I may need to swap to this medication for anxiety because my current one is having production problems.
Can I ask what dose you took and how you felt it was with anxiety pls.

(Sorry for hijack OP)
