Are my periods normal ?

I'm being investigated into why I'm have pain in my pelvis .... And it has made me think about my period .

I'm in my late 20's and I've had kids ....
No trouble concieving .
And I'm not on the pill.

Day 1 i would get through 3 tampons , maybe more if they get soaked ... Rarely .
Pad at night .....no blood on it what so ever! Kind of pointless .

Day 2 bit less than day 1 but stick to the 3 tampons and they don't get full. Pad at night ... No blood

Day 3 dark red /brown ... 2 tampons ... I could realistically leave 1 in all day

Day 4 and 5 brown marks ...... Panty liner..

Repeat every 22 days.

As I think about it from the age of 15-21 my periods were heavy for 2-3 days straight and at night I'd bleed onto the pad and I would need a thick night one . And id need a new box of tampons every month .... Now a box will last me 2/3 months .. and a packet of pads will last 3 4 months...

Is it because I'm getting older ?

I am not sure if it would be that or other reasons for you OP but I do know that my period has changed a lot over the years. It used to be heavier and last longer. Now it's over in about 3 days. It also used to be more painful and now it's not. Unless it is that I got used it?? But no serious cramps any more. My cycle is also slightly shorter now (by 1-3 days) than it used to be 10 years ago. I am late 30s now. I don't think periods are exactly the same throughout life. If you're worried though, best speak to your GP to be safe? For peace of mind at least
