Anyone else have a problem with belly button odour? I wash it well and dry it when and after showering but can't get rid of the slight odour. Is it worrying?

I have this sometimes, in my case it’s thrush (I’m very prone). Canesten cream sorts it straight away.

How often are you showering?

I have had this since my first pregnancy. Cleared up on it's own after about 6 months but has reappeared after having DC2. I find making sure it's thoroughly dry helps but to be honest I will be seeing doctor to check for infection as bendy mentioned.

I get it occasionally and recently discovered it was from the piercing hole that hasn’t been used in 12 years 😷

I’ve got a deep belly button and get this too. I find if I regularly clean it with a witch hazel soaked cotton bud that sorts it out.

Thanks will try canestan as I have some at home, failing that will get some whitch hazel.
