Shingles

So I've had shingles once before, adult son now has shingles started Boxing Day. Today I feel really unwell and have the tell tale rash on my face and the itchy burning and pain for good measure. I always thought you couldn't catch shingles so is my shingles just a coincidence do you think?

You don't catch shingles as its a reactivation of the chicken pox virus that you've had in the past. Have you both been stressed?

Yes it has been a pretty stressful time lately more so for me than ds tbh. He doesn't live at home but was here for Christmas. Looks like I need to see the GP tomorrow and get antivirals as well then. At least I'm well stocked on painkillers anyway.
