Red line running from shingles rash

I've got a small area of raised rash, seen by a doctor yesterday and diagnosed as shingles.

Today I've just noticed that there is a new red line appeared next to the rash.

I know that with bites a red line would be an infection flag.

Does anyone know if I need to be concerned about this red line with the shingles rash?

Thanks headache

It's remained the same over the course of the day so I'm going to leave it till the morning but I'm intending to see the GP tomorrow.

It could just be more spots appearing but if you're concerned about it 'tracking' definitely worth checking out
