Poo problems (lack of) TMI

Christmas Day I was unwell and running to the loo, I took tablets to stop it and all was ok. Now almost 5 days later and I haven’t pooped at all. I look pregnant, I can’t get my jeans on and I don’t feel that brilliant.

I really don’t want to take laxatives.

I have bought some prune juice and drunk a glass a hour or so ago. Is there anything else that migh......um.....make me go?

Pint of lager?

girlandboy · 29/12/2018 20:29

I ate a whole tin of prunes (large) when on codeine and I hadn't been for over a week. None of the doctor's prescriptions did a thing, but the prunes definitely worked.
So stick with the prune juice, or up the onslaught with a tin of prunes!

Drink plenty of water.

Mango is very effective...

Prunes are the best. We have a few chopped up in our porridge every morning and we never miss a toilet sesh!

Op look at my past threads and I have one about constipation - had some really helpful suggestions on there. My sympathies - it's horrid

Thank you, hopefully the prune juice will work, I have mango here too. Usually coffee makes me go (caffeine gives me a bad stomach) but even that hasn't worked.
