dd been told after birth as click hip waiting for appointment what do we expect??

they sending her to hip clinc just wanting to know what will they do is it an exray?

dd had this, they use an ultrasound scanning thing, baby has some gel applied and then a quick look with handheld thing (bit like when you are pregnant). v. low key. hope she is ok, but even if there is something up it is really good to catch it this early.

When my DD went to the hip clinic a few months ago, it was an ultrasound scan. They laid her on her side and scanned the hip, then did the other side for comparision. It only took a few minutes. I think it is quite common and usually sorts itself out as they develop in the first few months of life

Hi Trace...was wondering how you and DD were getting on. My niece had this and had an ultrasound scan and x-rays (but she had some other pelvic problems as well). She was in a brace for about three months, but her hip is fine now.

How is the LO apart from this???

she as uneven creases too on her legs at the back so well have to see, but my brother had a pervised hip when he was young spent two years in hospital.

daisy she as a kidney scan on monday too, and she onlt taking an ox of milk it all seans to be worrying . ill have to catch up later mw here

My DD had a clicky hip too, had an xray and it was fine. Good luck with it all
