Psoriasis??

Dh has horrible rash all swollen and sore. Doctors just giving him aqueous cream. Anyone any ideas as he is not in a good state.

Has he been diagnosed with psoriasis? Or is it just a rash?
Is it scaly? Itchy?
Where is the rash?

All over cookie and it's red swollen and flaky. He is in a lot of pain
