Go to a doctor. Pregnancy test are not reliable after miscarriage. They usually continue to come up positive for a while after.

Lifting doesn't cause miscarriage. It's not advised in pregnancy because the hormones loosen your ligaments and make you more prone to injury.

Also as the pp said, pregnancy tests don't turn negative straightaway. It takes a while for the hormone to leave the body. In my case it was a couple of weeks.

I did say not to lift anything we are roughly 4 weeks pregnant and we were both gutted when it came back negative but what about the bleed?.. See that part makes no sense to the both of us

4 weeks is quite early for a positive test, and lifting does not cause miscarriage. Perhaps it was a mistake and she just came on her period?
