I have just gone to the toliet and my stool was black, so here I am panicking.
Have just thought that I have eaten nearly a whole large jar of blackjacks in the past two days.
Could the blackjack cause the black stool?

Probably. I would expect it after nearly a full jar.

Or iron tablets in my case.

Teach me for being greedy,it was a Christmas present from my son.
Scared me stupid, won't be eating any for a while.

It’s probably that.

Dh and I had a complete meltdown when mini toddler ds pooped once and it was bright red. He seemed fine in himself and we couldn’t work out what was going on at all until we realised that he’d eaten a whole large red jelly to himself earlier that day and then polished it off with a red crayon... ! Scared the life out of it until we realised.

Hopefully it was the black jacks then, I have been so good after having pnd and health anxiety that this has tipped me over again.

Yes - 100% it’s the blackjacks!

abbsisspartacus · 28/12/2018 11:24

Mates ds had blue poo turns out he ate solid paint out of those kids painting sets a small amount goes a surprisingly long way

Daffodils07 · 28/12/2018 12:46

Well I've had a bad tummy and sorry again for tmi the shits but more normal colour now.
No more blackjacks for me (or in future just one or two).
And wow blue poo bet that was a surprise to see.

😂😂😂

This happens to me after copious amounts of red wine

gamerchick · 28/12/2018 13:03

Do they have liquorice in? Too much of that will give you the runs.

Maybe not nearly the whole jar next time Wink

Daffodils07 · 29/12/2018 08:33

There not liquorice but are from the same family, there aniseed.
I won't be eating them in a hurry Grin

Happens to me after a fair bit of red wine too. It's definitely the blackjacks
