Front of my neck is uncomfortable like something there especially when I lay down feels worse I’m sure it’s thyroid but tests show ok? Just awoke from a nap (constantly tired also) could it be a problem and I’ve had negative results?

Yes, it could. I have a genetic polymorphism on a thyroid gene (DIO2) which means I can't change T4 into T3, and it doesn't show up in thyroid tests. In fact, my TSH was not only in range, but perfect (close to 1). I had the genetic test done privately as I was convinced I had Hypothyroid symptoms (and I had a slight goitre) and then luckily found an Endocrinologist who was prepared to listen and look at info I brought with me. I'm now on NDT and feeling much better

I am seeing an endocrinologist on the 4th jan, so I’m hoping this will help me with further tests? As I’ve already had the endoscopy and MRI which are both clear.
Bloods I’ve had have all been clear, they want to do another full blood count and check for glandular fever on the 31st dec, I presume glandular fever would have presented more symptoms like being more sore, fever?
It’s slightly tickle/sore cough makes it feel strange when I swollow. Nobody can put their finger on it at all with previous tests being normal.

I don't know about glandular fever, sorry. I had an ultrasound of my thyroid done to confirm the goitre, although the consultant said it was visible to him anyway... I'd assume it would show on an MRI. The genetic problem I have doesn't show on blood tests at all unfortunately
