Perianal abscess

I am on my 3rd perianal abscess in 7 months.
I went to out of hours this morning at the hospital and she said it wasnt anywhere near bursting and to see gp tomorrow.
Guess what! I have been home a few hours and its burst! Pressure relieved. So now what do I do? See gp tomorrow as planned or go back to the hospital 😥
So fed up. Im 37 and my life is revolving around an abscess!

Definitely still see gp for advice, painkillers and possibly antibiotics. Good luck, I hope it doesn't get any worse.

I had one in March (which has now presented as a fistula... lovely, waiting for surgery), so I know your pain. Go to the gp as they may refer you to colorectal to investigate why they’re recurring. It’s no fun is it :(
