How lunch should a tummy bug last?

Apologies for any tmi in this post!

I've had a stomach bug of some kind since Tuesday (first bout of diarrhoea on Tuesday night). No vomiting but terrible cramping and consistent diarrhoea. It's worst in the evenings and between 3-6am, which I assume is something to do with when I've eaten - I've not eaten much but I'm still hungry and don't want to starve myself completely.

The cramps aren't as bad as they were and I feel less ill than I did on Wednesday/Thursday, when I felt dreadful, but there doesn't seem to be any improvement in the amount I'm using the loo. At what point should I start to worry or consider seeing a doctor (I don't want to go if I'm still contagious, obviously)?

I'm keeping hydrated so not too concerned about dehydration, but I was really hoping I'd be better before Christmas!

I had an awful stomach bug just like yours a month or so ago and I lasted 4 days! I barely ate and couldn't leave the house!
Hopefully you coming out the other side Thanks

Did it cleat yo suddenly or gradually? This is day four for me, so it would be great if this was it!

I felt rotten for a day or so after the diarrhoea stopped and still didn't eat much. Fingers crossed you're starting to feel a bit better.
