Nurofen for Children

Google has failed me. Can anyone tell me why Nurofen markets 2 different products both 100mg per 5ml of solution with one aimed at 3 months to 9 years and the other at 3 months to 12 years?

no idea.
probably 'because they can', like the stuff 'for period pain', which is the same as the other tablets as well.
tbh, I only look at the dosage, not the marketing stuff.
bnf also has a dosing guide handy if you can only get generic from the corner shop.
