Hi,
Has anyone signed up to an online GP ? Are they any good. I like my NHS GP, but as the years go by they see happy to do anything, apart from treat what I went in for :-)
6 jabs you never wanted, patronising about lifestyles, have you heard about the wonders of vitamin D. I'm sure you've all been through it. There always seems someone to pester you, but it still takes 14 days to get an appointment. If online GPS work ? I'd like to keep contact with my NHS guy to a minimum.

I have access to a 24 hour gp service through work and most people love it. You don't feel bad about wasting an nhs gp's time for little things. If the online gp says I'll need a prescription that'll come to more than nhs prescription charge I'll book an appointment with the nhs gp to get the prescription (reduces the appointment from 10 minutes to like 3 as the check what the private gp says and they run drug name through system instantly). To me it's like ringing 111 but actually getting to talk to a gp.

This works for me but I don't pay for it, work do. If I had to pay for appointments I'm not sure I would.

I use GP at Hand (NHS) and it is FANTASTIC, and I previously used their private service Babylon. Never been pestered about the lifestyle nonsense either.
